We wouldn’t be where we are today without our amazing staff, so we’ve decided to put faces to the names of those who keep our business going. Let us introduce you to Sarah Parke, our Coleraine Showroom Manager.
We love to meet our customers, which is why we welcome all of them into our showrooms. This also allows customers to view a wide range of products up close and speak to us face-to-face about any queries they have about designing their dream bathroom.
Our fantastic showroom staff have in-depth knowledge of the bathroom market and have undergone intensive training on all our products. This includes our team in the new Coleraine showroom, which has been doing really well since it’s opening! We caught up with Coleraine Showroom Manager Sarah so she could tell us a little more about herself and what she loves about her role.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love dealing with people. This has been the most enjoyable sales role I’ve ever had. I enjoy the whole process, from dealing with the customer from the beginning, to advising and helping them choose their products and the tile and colour combinations for the room. When the customer sends you a photograph of the room when it’s finally done, you say to yourself “wow that looks great, I helped to achieve this”.
Would you recommend working for Bathshack?
I would highly recommend working for Bathshack, they are a great company to work for. The people are all great to work with, and everyone always tries to help each other out if we need it. You also have great opportunities to progress within the company. I started with Bathshack in February 2021 as Assistant Manager in the Ballymena showroom and I’m now managing a showroom of my own, which is just amazing for me.
What’s your favourite bathroom trend?
I love a spa-like feel in a bathroom – luxurious, with natural tones and calming effect. So when you are soaking in the bath, it feels like you are somewhere other than in your own bathroom. We have a bay like this in the showroom here in Coleraine and so many people love it.
What advice would you always give to someone renovating their bathroom?
The most important thing is to make sure your measurements are correct. Consider what layout works best for your shape of room; sometimes just placing your vanity unit on a different wall, or moving the bath, can achieve such a difference. I always like when people come in who have looked for ideas online, as they have some sort of idea what they like and don’t like, which makes my job that little bit easier.
Tell us something about yourself that you don't mind sharing.
I collect metal bells. I have a bell for every country or city I’ve ever visited since I met my husband.
Come and meet Sarah’s fantastic team at the Coleraine showroom! We have 50 inspirational product bays displaying a selection of our bathroom suites, furniture, tiles and much more, in a variety of different designs. No matter your taste and budget, you are sure to find what you’re looking for.
