Bathroom Trends for Spring 2023
Nothing lasts forever, and whilst bathroom trends come and go, there is always something new to explore here at Bathshack. From Marble, Bottle Green, and everything in between, we’re going to look at the latest bathroom trends to consider for your next bathroom remodelling/upgrade project. Whilst following the latest trends isn't a guarantee of achieving a timeless look, we hope you find browsing through these trending bathroom concepts inspiring to say the least, and if at the very least you’ve found yourself motivated to create and design your own trend that is timeless to you, we’ll take it, right?
Without further ado, let’s look at the trends that are currently proving popular this Spring.
Bottle Green
Amazon rainforest or Scandinavian Spa, the bottle green design has become the current contemporary style of the season, and is growing more popular as households aim to replicate the Nordic spa like experience from the tranquillity of their own home. Green is a calming, centring colour—a colour that represents rejuvenation, so it's a great choice for bathrooms. Often overlooked, green is a somewhat unexpected, but often stunning shade for nearly any bathroom. Green can provide a moment of calm before you start your day or as you get ready for bedtime.

Proving to be incredibly incredibly versatile and flexible it’s perfect for modern bathrooms. Whether you want to splash a coat of paint on your vanity or you are into a total tile revamp, it’s capable of improving the most dated of bathrooms.
We stock a wide range of bottle green to sage, whatever shade you’re looking for we’ve got it covered.
Marble
True beauty never fades, and the same can be said for marble. Classic and elegant, marble is always a good choice when it comes to bathroom decor. It's timeless and is held in such high regard, it can even add value to your property if it’s retained long enough.
Remember however, that Marble must be sealed yearly and cleaned regularly to avoid stains, scratches, and moisture damage. But if you can handle the work, the results are worth it: an elegant and classic bathroom that will stand the test of time. A perfect example of this is our Josef Martin Roma 1200mm Wall Mounted Vanity Unit - Marble Gold which is also moisture resistant. The vanity unit is designed with 1 in frame drawer and a sleek, Stainless Steel handle-less rail. Complete with matching MFC worktop designed for use with a countertop bowl and deck mounted taps.
For a marble masterclass in high class luxury and an awe-inspiring centrepiece for an upper class bathroom check out our Marseille 1700mm Luxury Freestanding Bath - Marble Finish White.
Black Bathrooms
Striking, bold and stylish black bathrooms are one of the biggest bathroom trends to emerge over the last few years. Black in a bathroom is a trend that continues to grow, interior designers around the world incorporate black into the most sophisticated of bathrooms. This chic, neutral, sophisticated, and minimalistic hue will transform any bathroom space into a luxury space. Their prominence comes from the developing realisation that the bathroom is no longer just a functional space, but an area to boost your wellbeing.

Brass
As they say, what’s old is new again and brass is one of the biggest bathroom trends to (re)emerge in the last few years, and to grow. So why is brass playing a large part in our new bathroom makeovers? It’s easy to see why, brass adds instant warmth to a black or white bathroom, it gives a classical, elegant touch to a marble tiled bathroom and offers a perfect contrast to a any bathroom scheme. Most importantly though, incorporating brass to any bathroom can give you a more premium look and it can be used in conjunction with any budget to remodel your bathroom.
For many years chrome has topped the charts for taps and shower finishes in the bathroom, but this is changing. As the name suggests, 'brassware' has the metal 'brass' at its core and why not – it is a material that is durable and long lasting. Usually, the brass is finished with chrome or nickel to produce the shiny silver look we’ve used for many years. As warmer metallic tones have appeared in other areas of our homes, we’ve seen brass and copper appear on taps and other metal finishes in the bathroom.
We have a wide ranging brass collection, which can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
